I promised myself that I would end my love affair with lip gloss and move on back to lipstick but I just can’t. Lip gloss has forever etched a place in my heart with its sexy, shiny, bold goodness.
My lippy of the week, well there are actually two are from KRYOLAN, they’re high gloss lip gloss with pearl Mica based pigments. If you’re not familiar with KRYOLAN, they’re a cruelty-free professional makeup brand that beautifies the theatrical community but can be purchased online on sites like Amazon and Stage Tones.
The two colors that I swatched two colors were Beach (top) and Kir (bottom); I love how the colors stay true to the shade in the tube.
These gorgeous lippies come with a tiny brush applicator that I love way more than the typical gloss wand. The lip brush gives a precision application and holds a lot of product. I love how the gloss is creamy rather than sticky and stays put for hours.
Beach (above) is a high intensity orange gloss with tiny flecks of shimmer that is on trend for Spring 2012.
Kir (above) is a creamy gloss with a pink and soft fuchsia tone and applies like an opaque colored dream.
