Review: Peach and Lily

Recently I was introduced to a new beauty site called Peach & Lily. It’s a portal to Asia’s best beauty products, mostly from Korea and Japan. Since you cannot get some of these coveted beauty products here in the US, this is a great place to search for that oh so elusive mascara or eye cream.

Lily & Peach carry the organic and ECOCERT certified brand Aromatic. I immediately fell in love with the Aromatica Sea Daffodil Aqua Gel Cream ($49). This is not just a moisturizer it is pure skin therapy! While taking a look at the list of ingredients the first one was Aloe (not water like most moisturizers), in fact 83% of the product contains aloe. This moisturizer is feather light, I mean I simply cannot think of another moisturizer that is as light weight as this one. It’s sooo perfect for summer. The moisturizer immediately sinks into the skin leaving it plump and hydrated and it smells pretty incredible too. You’ll want to pick this one up!

Another beauty product that won my heart over is Clio’s eye guard waterproof liner ($23). The ergonomic shape allows for a better grip and helps to draw smooth straight lines. If you struggle with tightlining, eyelining and winging the eyes, then this may be your saving grace. The liquid eyeliner is waterproof and smudge-proof, designed to last for 12-hours.

Another product that I fell for is Clio’s Friday Glow Liquid Shadow. I’m a huge fan or cream and liquid shadows because they blend so well and they’re just easier to apply for me. This Clio liquid shadow is a dream, it spreads smoothly with a tiny brush that is a great size for the eyes, allowing you to control more of the product. The shadow does not dry out right away, allowing for more blending with your fingertip. This is a product that I would reach for when I have 5 minutes to do my face because it’s so easy to use and so hard to get it wrong!

Overall I loved the beauty products on Lily and Peach, it’s a fantastic online destination for high-quality beauty products from Asia. The site is curated by the three founders who have dedicated themselves to only highlighting the very best, innovative, Asian beauty products on the market. Now I have a new beauty site to shop from!
