Looking Polished: Laura Mercier Nail Lacquer in Organza

This week I’m wearing Laura Mercier Nail Lacquer in Organza, $18. This shade is a sheer neutral beige with just a hint of pink loaded with tiny gold flecks. I feel in love with this color as soon as I saw it and I’m not the type to swoon over every new nail color. But there is something so delicate and beautiful about it.

I used two coats of nail polish to achieve this look, but three would have been better. I love the tan base, I just wish that it was a bit more opaque to a allow the gold flecks to “pop” a bit more. But overall it’s a pretty color that you can wear on any occasion. What do you think of Organza?
