As much as I try to deny it, I’m a Pink girl, I simply love the color. I didn’t always love pink as a child but for the past ten years I’ve grown so attracted to the color. And since each color has meaning I decided to look it up. According to the Crystal Cure website, this is what pink means:
Pink Energy
Pink is a combination of red and white. The quality of energy in pink is determined by how much red is present. White is the potential for fullness, while red helps you to achieve that potential. Pink combines these energies. Shades of deep pink, such as magenta, are effective in neutralizing disorder and violence. Some prisons use limited deep pink tones to diffuse aggressive behaviour. Pink provides feelings of caring, tenderness, self-worth and love, acceptance.
Put some pink in your life when you want:
- calm feelings
- to neutralize disorder
- relaxation
- acceptance, contentment
And since I’m so drawn to the color pink hopefully because I’m radiating with love and acceptance I chose cruelty-free nail polish brand, Cult Nails in Devious Nature. The weather in NYC has been drab and rainy and this pop of pink is very bold and cheerful, something we all could use a bit of. I felt more bold and cheerful with perfectly pink manicured digits. It’s like Barbie pink if Barbie grew up and got a job. What do you think of Devious Nature?
