I’ve been using the Clarisonic Mia for almost two years now and it’s a great investment in your skin. It cleanses gently and yet somehow manages to to keep skin baby soft and smooth without irritation.
Well I recently received a Clarisonic Whimsy Plus Skincare Brush from b glowing and I couldn’t be more thrilled. The Clarisonic Whimsy Plus is similar to the Mia except that it has different speeds and comes with a body brush attachment. The body brush is the part that I was most excited about because I buy a lot of body scrubs and it would be nice to not have to use an extra product.

The body brush attachment is intuitive so you don’t have to change any of the settings, the device automatically detects when you’ve switched the brush and sets itself to run for 3 minutes. When the face brush is attached the device will run for one minute and you have the option of changing the speed.
As expected, using the Clarisonic left my skin polished and it cleaned much better than just using a washcloth or my hands. The Clarisonic brush moves at a sonic frequency of 300 times per second so you can only imagine how deep clean your skin can get. Clarisonic also makes the claim that this brush removes makeup six times better than traditional methods. And although I can’t say that it was six times cleaner, it was significantly cleaner than my regular method of washing my face.
The body brush attachment felt fantastic in the shower, however I needed more than the 3 minute time set by the device to exfoliate my entire body. After using the body brush I was hooked, my skin absorbed my body oil much quicker and my legs especially felt softer.
