As a brown girl I have to say that I don’t normally use self-tanners. I don’t even (intentionally) going tanning in the summer. I’ve always used bronzer on my face when I wanted a bit more of a “healthy glow”. But my legs have always been pretty pale. So when I was offered the chance to review a cruelty free self tanner I decided to give it a shot.
Beautisol Tea Tan Glow is a self tanner that uses tea-coloring (rooibos tea extract, green tea extract and sodium PCA) to deliver a quick bronzing effect. This foam tanner dries in 60 seconds and it washes right off in the shower (which is a plus in case you don’t like how it looks).
I tried the formula on my legs since they are always significantly lighter than the rest of my body. I have to say that I really enjoyed the scent, it smells amazing, no horrible chemical smell here! I tried the application with and without the foam glove and I have to say that even without the glove the foam blends effortlessly on the skin.
I tried the recommended amount of pumps, which was 2-3 for upper legs but I’m pretty tan already so I needed about 5 pumps. 😉 I applied the foam formula to just one leg to compare and I loved the results. my legs looked pretty tan. I also want to mention that I was not at all strategic in my application, I just really massaged in it all over my thighs and it blended evenly without me giving mush effort at all
So what do you think of my self-tanner results using Beautisol Tea Tan Glow? Have you tried it?
