As part of my New Year’s Resolutions I vowed to get a new do. As an executive, wife, mom and blogger, my schedule is often full BUT I know how important it is to make oneself a priority to better take care of my loved ones. So when I received an invite to try out the Angelo David Salon I thought what a great opportunity to review the salon services. I reserved a CND Shellac manicure, precision cut and color.
The Angelo David Salon is located in the heart of New York City right next to Grand Central Station. The salon is tucked away on the second floor of a small office building. Once I arrived at the second floor I noticed the clean and stylish look of the decor with rich wood accents and private styling rooms. Angelo David is know for his couture hair extensions so private rooms are necessary for clients’ privacy. The salon also offers it patrons welcome amenities like lattes, cappuccino or spring water. I was pleasantly greeted by the receptionist and promptly ushered to the nail station where I received my manicure. I opted for a deep grape color called Rock Royalty which looked amazingly chic and totally office appropriate. Who knew that grape nail polish was corporate?
After my CND manicure I was off to the next chair for my cut and color. I was excited to get my precision cut with bangs and a deep black color (my signature color) because I was long overdue for a trim and a touch up. My colorist/stylist spent a few minutes consulting with me on the products that I used in my hair and on my previous chemical treatments. Even the owner, Angelo David, stopped by to check in on my consult!
So let’s go to the video tape so that you can get up close and personal with my Angelo David Salon experience!
I appreciated the great customer service that the salon provides. The staff was extremely attentive and seemed to enjoy their jobs. The facility is centrally located in New York City making it an ideal location for those that do not live in Manhattan but still prefer a high end establishment to get their locks groomed. Overall the service was quite good and I loved my hair (even though I didn’t get anything dramatic).
What is your best salon experience?
