I was invited to cover the hair and makeup backstage for the Farah Angsana S/S 2011 collection and I was more than happy to oblige. The theme of night was about “Sexy, Springy and Fresh”.
The models wore gold and silver eye shadow, minimal lashes and soft coral lipstick. The nail color was also kept light and Springy using No More Alimony, a beautiful nude shade with a bit of metallic edge to it. Gregg Hubbard, makeup artist for Cristo lead the beauty team, Rita Hazan covered the hair and nails were done by Dashing Diva. Let’s take a closer look.
Hair was kept soft with a natural feel, the hairstyles varied from sleek and straight to delicate up-do’s.
What are your thoughts on the hair and makeup?
Your first model shot is luminiscent! That’s how I would describe the makeup and the hair is prettily feminine. It is all very fresh and innocent. Love it!
