Looking Polished: New York Fashion Week FW16 Manicure Style

With NYFW winding down, I’ve had a chance to see all of the exciting new manicure styles for Fall Winter 2016. I noticed a trend returning back to the more simple and less over the top nail designs that we’ve been seeing for the past two years. These are some of my top everyday nail looking that will have you looking polished!

Michelle Saunders for essie was captivated by a star design from a textile in the collection, which sparked the idea of a star-studded nail look. For the base color she chose mademoiselle, a classic, grown-up pink, to highlight the star. Julie Kandalec for essie created a feminine, soft pink nail by layering sugar daddy over limo-scene. The sheer shades allow the natural nail to shine through with an elegant hint of pink.
