So after much research and thought, I’ve decided to give the vegan lifestyle a try. So for two weeks I’m going to do without meat or dairy. And if I can adapt to this healthier way of living then I will have changed my life for the better. Wish me luck!
Today is the first day of my diet and I’m having oatmeal with fresh blueberries and raisins, fresh squeezed OJ and some water. Yum!

Amazing, I can’t wait to hear about the results. Breakfast looks great.

Good luck. It is tough because you have no idea how many things have animal products in them (like gelatin or how white sugar is ground/sifted with animal bones and such). Once you get get all the stuff you can’t consume out of the way the list is pretty short on what you can. And it’s expensive to by Vegan alternatives too. I loved it but after 6 months I had to stop for economic reasons.

It’s very tough but I’m giving it a try for two weeks to see if it’s a lifestyle choice that I enjoy and can sustain. If not, I still don’t think that I would go back to eating meat but we shall see!

The oatmeal and berries look delicious! I can’t see myself going vegan but I have considered vegetarianism and have yet to go longer than 2 or 3 days without meat. LOL.
With the new year coming up, I definitely would like to cut out meat for 1 or 2 weeks and see if I feel any changes.
Good luck on your healthy living/eating journey. 🙂
