I recently cut out sweets, not because I needed to lose weight but because I was using sugar to escape my feelings. Every time I reached for a sweet it was because I was feeling uncomfortable or bored and wanted to alleviate that. Now I only indulge about once a week and I feel so much more calm and balanced. I don't get the high and the crash, don't need to nap in the afternoon anymore and know I am doing something good for both my physical and mental health. You will feel a lot different in a good way!
