HBO and designer Lydia Bravo have teamed up to bring us the Sex and the City bra strap collection. There is a different color bra strap for each Sex and the City star and each one is adorned with Swarovski crystal. It’s no surprise that Swarovski crystals were used since Swarovski had partnered with “Sex and the City 2″ on jewelry and accessories for the film. The bra straps colors for the Sex and the City ladies are:

Samantha ~ Crystal

Charlotte ~ Pink

Carrie ~ Gold

Miranda ~ Iridescent

Personally I don’t know that I would wear them as bra straps since I’m not a fan of strapless bras in the first place. I would however wear them with something like a tube top for an evening out. These straps are just adorable and attention grabbing, I can just see myself sparkling the night away with pink Swarovski crystals gracing my shoulders and light bouncing off of them at my every turn. These are absolutely fabulous!

Pretty City in Partnership with Shape Magazine is hosting several Beauty Sample Sales throughout the US.  Join other beauty obsessed ladies for an evening of shopping, mini-facials, make-up applications, hair treatments and cocktails all topped off with a goodie bag of swag. On May 27, 2010 the movie that many fashion and beauty loving gals are going to run and go see will be Sex and the City 2. To add a sparking touch to this momentous fashion occasion Swarovski has partnered with “Sex and the City 2″ providing accessories, jewelry and even a crystal encrusted chandelier in Carrie Bradshaw’s closet because who doesn’t have a Swarovski crystal chandelier in their homes? Look out for cameos by some big name celebs such as Miley Cyrus, Penélope Cruz and Liza Minnelli.

If you are a die hard fan or a tourist you can purchase the Sex and the City 2 movie package (in NYC) where you can stop by the 40+ locations that have been featured on SATC such as The Pleasure Chest, Magnolia’s, BED etc. followed by a screening and a trip to a nightclub after the film.

These are just a small sampling of the makeup bags that I’ve come across and LOVED. There are so many choices available that it makes it hard to pick just one. What kind of makeup bag do you tote your goodies in?

I feel that a product like this is versatile because not only can you use it for a good nights rest but you can also add the liner to your lingerie drawer, use it to keep your closet fresh or even place it where you store your laundry for a fresh beautiful scent. Personally I prefer to use it to line my drawers because there’s nothing that I enjoy more than putting on fresh clean clothes with a beautiful scent that lingers. Just imagine breaking out your swimsuit after it’s been in your drawer lined with a Day at the Beach – a scent mixture of the ocean breeze, suntan oil and warm sand. You’ll feel like you’re at the beach before you even get there. Yum!

When I initially opened the foil packet, I noticed that the liner had a very strong scent. Once applied it to my pillow case the scent was diffused, so if you try these liners do not be alarmed if the scent seems a bit heavy at first. The liners are not meant to be directly in contact with your nose, face or skin but rather placed inside your pillow case. I was pleasantly surprised at how beautiful these scents were and I hope that this company continues to give us even more options. Each set of Sleep Scentsations liners retail at $14.99 with the exception of the Wellness liners which retail for $19.99 per set. Each scented pillow liner lasts for approximately 4-6 days, well worth for the investment for this little luxury!
