Glossybox: American Beauty Box curated by Dallas Shaw

The latest and greatest Glossybox is curated by Dallas Shaw, fashion illustrator extraordinaire.  Shaw chose some of her favorite American brands, all manufactured in the United States. Shaw, describes herself as a product junkie and has collaborated with many brands like DKNY and CHANEL. She’s definately a girl in the know so I was excited to see what beauty picks she had in store for Glossybox.

SpaRitual Shooting Star Nail Lacque

SpaRitual Shooting Star Nail Lacquer – I love SpaRitual because they make great quality nail polish that are cruelty-free. Shooting Star is a beautiful purple shade with tiny flecks of glitter. I can’t wait to get a manicure with this shade.

Tarte Complexion Enhancing Lipstick

Tarte Complexion Enhancing Lipstick – This Tarte lipstick  is a creamy nude with a tinted core that is supposed to give you luscious lips. I tried this combo and unfortunately it was a fail for me. The combination of colors looked like I swiped my lips with a highlighter. The texture was great but the color just didn’t suit me.

Oscar de la Renta Essential Luxuries

Oscar de la Renta Essential Luxuries - This sample of six unique scents was inspired by Oscar’s love of beauty and luxury. I’m familiar with this set, I’ve sampled all of the fragrances before. They’re all quite lovely. You can read my review on them here.

c.Booth Honey Almond Nourishing Dry Oil Mist.

c.Booth Honey Almond Nourishing Dry Oil Mist – This lightweight oil provides instant hydration to dehydrated skin leaving a natural glow and absorbing into the skin almost instantly . This face is body oil is lightly fragrant and scented with just he right amount of a honey almond. This dry oil nourishes the skin with Apricot, Safflower, Sweet Almond Oil, Coconut Oil and other skin nourishing extracts. The spray bottle allows for a mess-free application, which is key since most of my oils tend to drip down the side making it difficult to hold.

Phillip B. Lovin Leave-in Conditioner

Philip B. Lovin’ Leave-in Conditioner – This weightless conditioner can be applied to wet or dry hair. It’s said to strengthen with restorative Soy and Wheat Proteins and healing Amino Acids. I enjoyed using it on my dry hair since it’s so lightweight; it left my hair feeling soft and not sticky. After application you won’t be able to tell that you left some conditioner in. This leave-in conditioner is also quite fragrant but does have a clean scent to it so it’s not at all overwhelming.
