Review: Own - Nighttime Lip Therapy

I keep tubes and tins of lip balm in every purse I own, in each bathroom and each makeup bag. I have *slight* obsession with keeping my lips moisturized.

Enter Own – Nighttime Lip Therapy ($9.99), a moisturizing lip treatment in a very cool cone-shaped package with a tapered end. This treatment has lots of good-for-skin ingredients like Sunflower, safflower, and apricot oil, and shea butter to keep lips hydrated. This liquid lip balm is colorless and is applied directly from the tube via roller ball. The roller ball helps the balm to easily glides over lips depositing a thin even layer. The formula is light and smooth with a very light scent and a subtle gloss. Love!

The lip therapy treatment is said to help plum lips and that’s where the Moss Rose comes in to building volume. My lips are already very full and honestly I did not notice much pumping when I woke up. But my lips felt really good!

I find myself reaching for this balm more often than the other because I’m really drawn to the packaging. The cone shaped tube is easy to spot in an oversized purse or an overstuffed vanity.

But what really stands out to me is that this lip balm is totally green. All of the ingredients are natural and there are no parabens, or phthalates. Furthermore all products and ingredients are cruelty free and made in the US. So it makes the brand even more attractive to me as a consumer because I see how much good they do.

Have you tried Own – Nighttime Lip Therapy?
