Traveling: must have beauty products!

This past weekend, I needed a mini get-a-away and started to panic when thinking about what to pack. As if anxiety about clothing, shoes, and accessories wasn’t enough; I began to worry about all the beauty, hair and skin products to bring.

My trip was only a short 4 days, so I narrowed it down to my ultimate make-up necessities and I am going to share with you the things I brought!

-L’Oreal BB Cream (BB Cream is my new staple, when I use this I don’t have to apply a heavy foundation, or even a concealer. Just this with some powder on top looks simple and fresh!)

-Bare Minerals Touch-Up Veil (contains sunscreen and covers greasy looking skin while traveling!)

-Benefit hoola bronzer (travel size!)

-NARS orgasm blush (regardless the time of year, it’s always the perfect color on my cheeks!)

-Eyelash curler and mascara (my “desert island” need!)

-Blistex Silk and Shine lipbalm (with real silk extracts and SPF 15)

-NYX Mega Shine Lip Gloss in “Sugar Pie” (new obsession!)

When traveling, I usually don’t bring eye shadows and pencils and palettes, I like to keep my things (and my face) as simple as possible!

I put everything in a clear plastic cosmetic bag, so everything can be seen easily and taken out quickly.

Also thrown into my pocketbook for the plane, I like to keep Burt’s Bee’s Hand Sanitizer (100% natural) as well as a great hand cream for dry skin while I’m traveling.

 What are your traveling necessities?

  1. I like to keep my travel bag as light as possible too, although I do usually take a mini eye shadow palette that has a mirror and small (mostly used up) eyeliner pencil or two. But the essentials would be a foundation (something in compact packaging or I’ll put some in a little travel container), a powder that can double as an neutral eyeshadow or shadow base and that has a tiny bit of coverage so I can just wear it alone if I want, mascara, eye lash curler, possibly a concealer that can double as a brightener for inner eyes/under brow bone, and my EcoTools retractable kabuki
