Glossybox July 2012 summer nights review

This is my third month in with Glossybox and so far I still like it! This month the theme is Summer Nights. The box includes products that are supposed to help you “show off your sun kissed skin”.

Here’s whats inside the box:

  • Alessandro International Pedix Heel Rescue Balm
  • Ofra Cosmetics Universal Eyebrow Pencil
  • Sebastian Color Ignite Multi-tone Shampoo & Conditioner
  • Senna Cosmetics Double Dose Lip Lacquer
  • Almond and Aloe Hand & Body Emulsion by Caswell-Massey

This months’ box comes with two full-size products, Ofra Cosmetics Universal Eyebrow Pencil and Senna Cosmetics Double Dose Lip Lacquer in Chocolate Cherry.

A deluxe sample of Alessandro Pedix Feet Heel Rescue Balm was a nice treat in this summer beauty box. The balm contains marine minerals, shea butter and tea tree oil to give some first aid to dry feet. It’s a lightly scented rich cream that feels like heaven after a day at the beach. I love this, so worth buying the full-size product.

Sebastian had two samples in this box, a shampoo and conditioner, both targeted at color treated hair. Both products have sulphates in them so I haven’t sampled them but they do smell nice.

Last but not least there were two sample size packets of Caswell-Massey Almond  Aloe Hand & Body Emulsion. You can smell the sweet almond oil from the moment that you open the package, it’s not overwhelming but it certainly can’t be missed. The lotion is water based so it’s not oil and absorbs fairly quickly. It felt nice on the skin but nothing to write home about.
