Barneys Fall beauty preview 2011 with Jason Ascher

Last week I attended a breakfast at Barney’s with resident beauty guru Jason Ascher.  Jason is a personal shopper and makeup artist, recommending everything from fragrance to skin care products to Barney’s customers. So if you’re ever shopping at Barney’s and need a little bit of beauty expertise be sure to see Jason!

Jason shared his top three beauty products that all women should have this Fall:

  • SPF 25
  • A good tinted moisturizer
  • A great lip balm

While those are great suggestions, the Fall signals a change in my makeup and skin care routine. So I was pretty excited to learn about a new skin care line called Radical Skincare. Radical skincare is formulated with potent antioxidants like Resveratrol, Coffee Arabica, Acai, grapeseed, pomegranate, cranberries and prunes. This skincare formula is quite different because it’s able to deliver antioxidants to the skin prior to them breaking down so you’re getting high quality anti-aging products directly to your skin. Many brands have been unable to do that so it’s really quite impressive.

Radical Skincare has an antioxidant potency so powerful, that it carries more than 100 times the value of the leading brands average antioxidant score. Radical Skincare’s antioxidant levels measure up to 6000+.

Another standout item was the Kre-at Beauty False Eyelashes that comes with adhesive and an application tool. I am not a master at applying eyelashes so I loved that Kre-at Beauty uses a tool to apply lashes like a pro. Now every girl can have beautiful natural looking lashes!
