Nailtini - 119 Amaretto Fizz

While shopping for some new polish I was directed to a brand called Nailtini and their “cocktail” approach to beautiful nails. Nailtini gives us 29 straight up colors, 2 mixers, 9 toppers and 7 garnish nail designs to shake it up and make the ultimate nail cocktail! The straight up colors can be applied alone but to shake things up a bit you can add a mixer like Cream to lighten a shade or Espresso to intensify a shade. There are topper coats which add a bit of a special effect, for example Blue Flame adds a sheer blue iridescence. There is also a garnish book where you can create nail art with stencils, the book includes 7 designs (see below).

I am loving how this topper has totally transformed my polish into a totally different color. Note to self: Buy more toppers! The best part about giving myself an at home manicure is that these polishes do not have that awful smell that some other polishes have. Nailtini lacquers do not contain formaldehyde, toluene or dibutyl phthalate (DBP), and Nailtini products are not tested on animals. Welcome to mixing up your custom made manicure cocktail!

Ombres Contraste Duo

This unique eyeshadow palette offers two types of complimentary shadows. The lighter shade is a creamy shadow that can be used as a base or as a highlighting shadow. The darker shade is a bit more pigmented and true to color with a matte finish. Two applicators are included in this palette: a foam tip applicator and a small blending brush. The color combination featured is Gris which are silver and deep gray tones, however there will be six additional duos available this summer. Over the years our hands can show signs of aging such as wrinkles, uneven skin tone, sun damage, dry skins and lose of elasticity. One of the main reasons why our hands look older is due to wrinkled skin which is caused by dryness so it’s important to make sure that out hands are properly moisturized. Elizabeth Grant created a Vitamin C Hand and Nail Cream which contains a high dose of Vitamin C which in antioxidant that helps brighten skin and combat hyper-pigmentation. This hand cream also contains Shea Butter which is a natural moisturizer and Aloe which is known to soothe skin and boost hydration.

This hand cream is very moisturizing and has a light citrus scent to it. It’s hydrating without being greasy or sticky and absorbs quickly into your skin . I also love that this hand cream has Vitamin C in it to help my hands keep a more youthful appearance. My hands remained hydrated for several hours after application, so I was pretty happy with this. As someone who washes their hands quite a bit, it’s nice to have a hand cream that keeps my hands soft and supple. I would recommend this product to anyone seeking a rich hand cream that protects your skin while keep it soft as a baby’s bottom.

I sampled quite a few products from this line and I must say first off that these products smell amazing! I’ve been an avid Pantene user for as long as I can remember and I’ve always loved the smell of their products. I was a bit  surprised that a new scent was going to be introduced but I was pleasantly surprised by the new scent. I have color treated hair that is also fine and can get quite dry without proper moisturizing so I need quality products that keep my hair soft, shiny and do not fade my haircolor. One of the products that stood out to me the most was the Fine Hair Solutions Ultra-Light Moisturizing Treatment. This product is light but left my hair so silky smooth and did I mention that it smells great!? I would have to say that this is one of my favorites.

I must say that the Neo Reflectors are my favorite by far. These are lashes that I would expect to see Lady Gaga rockin’ out with at one of her concerts. The lashes are fresh, modern and fun which I why I adore them.

While browsing my local drug store I came across a line called 100% Pure and their enormous selection of moisturizers, hand creams, hair products, bath products and even makeup. I spoke with the company representative and she shared quite a bit of information about the company. This product line was formerly only available through QVC but can now be purchased on the company website and select stores. 100% Pure truly lives up to it’s name, their products do not contain synthetic fragrances, emulsifiers or thickeners. 100% Pure’s products are vegan, made with real fruits, pure essential oils, antioxidants and pure absolutes. This brand also does not test on animals and even uses cruelty free honey in their formulas.

After browsing their selection of products I decided to try the Organic Pineapple Nourishing Body Cream. I must say that this is one of the best smelling lotions that I have ever tried.  This lotion also has 15%  Vitamin C and 15% Vitamin E which is great for the skin. This lotion is certified organic and since the company does not use preservatives there is a number listed on every product indicating how long you can use it. If you enjoy fruity fragrances like Peach, Tangerine, Strawberry Lemonade, Blood Orange, Dark Chocolate, Coconut, Mango, Pomegranate etc. then you will probably love this line of products. I really love the fact that this line uses natural fruit and essential oil extracts and is organic.
